Inspiration Guide nature-inclusive building

We are working hard to expand and strengthen our high-voltage grid to meet the goals of the energy transition. All these projects affect nature. But we can also make a positive contribution. With the inspiration guide we give project staff, environmental managers, interested local residents and contractors a toolbox and inspiration to build nature-inclusive.

Why this inspiration guide?

Toolbox of initiatives

CSR policy

We try to limit the negative effects of our work and, where possible, create positive effects. We also include this in our investment plans.

Environment

Nature inclusiveness is also increasingly a desire from the local area where building takes place. People are increasingly aware of TenneT's impact on the landscape and on flora and fauna, and are responding with greater alertness. We also notice this in our projects.

Legislation

(Future) legislation such as the Environment and Planning Act also calls for nature-inclusive building. Procedures become more integral, qualities count more than spatially defined destinations and stakeholders become shareholders with shared values.
